11 Days of trekking away from the rains!
The summer months of late June, July, August and early September is the rainy season for much of Nepal. The monsoon rains move northward from India, bringing the much needed rains for the farmers. But what about the trekkers? Who wants to trek in the rain?
The good news is that there are parts of Nepal that either miss the rains completely or get very little precipitation, making this time of year ideal for trekking in those places. This area, known as the Trans-Himalayan Country is much more like Tibet. Here, you can visit the forbidden kingdom of Mustang, see centuries-old Buddhist monasteries while watching people farming as they have done for generations. The trek is not that difficult, and is especially ideal for slow trekkers or people with children. This area is very different than other parts of Nepal, providing some outstanding scenery and mountain views.
Contact PANDA TREKS & EXPEDITIONS to book your monsoon season adventure. While this area can be visited at anytime, the monsoons don't need to leave you out in the rain! PANDA TREKS & EXPEDITIONS will help you to keep dry while enjoying your Nepali vacation in that special part of our country.
