14 Days in the heart of Langtang National Park
There are taller mountains in Nepal, but maybe not as majestic. There are larger valleys in our country, but few are as beautiful as the Langtang Valley. It is a remote area that is relatively close to Kathmandu.
The Langtang Valley is surrounded by several 7000+ meter high mountains that ring this beautiful valley. Preserved as a national park, it retains all of its charm and local culture. This is also a trek that is much more demanding than most, with climbs over Ganja La Pass.
This is also a different trek because it is a camping trek. There are few tea houses in this area, so our staff at PANDA TREKS & EXPEDITIONS can put together the equipment, guide and porters to make this trip a reality. The trek includes time to acclimatize to the high elevations of the Langtang region.
Of special interest is that this is one of the places in Nepal where you can see the endangered red panda. These beautiful, but shy animals inhabit Langtang National Park. They are beautiful animals to behold, about the size of a large raccoon with red bands over the eyes. They are nocturnal creatures and rather shy, but do have a natural curiosity about them. Come and enjoy the wildlife, the flora and fauna and the majestic views that this trek has to offer. Talk or write your representative at PANDA TREKS & EXPEDITIONS about making this trek a reality.
