Very close to Nepal is the Buddhist kingdom of Bhutan. Nestled between India and China, it is located only a few miles from Nepal's eastern border.

It is a land known for its isolation. For centuries, it was not a place that people visited. It is steeped in Buddhist traditions and features some incredible scenery that is found in the Himalayas. The air is clean, and the architecture is unique to this mountain kingdom.
