15 Incredible Days of trekking in the High Himalayas!

The high Himalayas offer some of the most incredible scenery in the world. One of the most beautiful places in Nepal is the Jomsom / Muktinath / Poon Hill region.

The region is located in the Annapurna Range north of the lakeside city of Pokhara. Jomsom is famous as a jumping off point for a number of treks that go deep into the mountains. Here, you can see many of the highest peaks in the world, including Annapurna I and Manaslu.

Muktinath is a sacred city while Poon Hill is famous for its view of the sunrise over the mountains. On Poon Hill, people arrive prior to sunrise to watch the snowcapped peaks go from grey to pink to brilliant white as each minute brings a new shade of color to the summits.

This trek also will offer a chance to do some boating on beautiful Lake Fewa in Pokhara while watching the peaks reflect in its blue waters. There is an opportunity to bath in the hot waters at Tatopani, where its hot springs provide a healthy mineral bath.

The trail goes from sub-tropical to high alpine environment. The full range of what Nepal has to offer will be experienced on this trek.
